Are you up for a new snow adventure and would like to try something new, something extreme? Then snowkiting could be your thing! Snowkiting is a similar discipline to kite boarding but, as the name suggests, the water is replaced by snow and the surfboard replaced by skis or a snowboard.
In many ways snowkiting is easier than kitesurfing due to less friction and thus requiring less power (i.e lighter winds, smaller kites). Practiced either on skis or on a snowboard, the snowkiting lessons cover all aspects of snow kiting also known as kite-skiing. The beginner courses cover all the skills required to get going and the improver snow kiting course (kitesurfing cross-over course) develops skills and awareness to climb mountains and safely plan trips in the back country.

You can try snowkiting at the base of the Swiss Snowkiting School, located on the Simplon Pass in Valais, Switzerland. In the heart of the Swiss Alps you will find optimal conditions for snowkiting. The Simplon Pass is 2006 meters high and connects the Valais with Italy.
As an alternative, you can pick one of the tailor-made courses, offered for al levels – for both beginners and advanced kiters. They teach with a maximum of 3 students per instructor. Professional instruction and safety are the most important. They offer courses every day.
