As of December 2014, winter sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the new, state-of-the-art tributary cable car from Davos Platz to Jschalp. At the top of the mountain, daredevils will find the “JatzPark” with four runs featuring 20 elements such as kickers and rails. At the foot of Jakobshorn, in direct proximity to the Bolgen ski lift, you will find another freestyler highlight: a superpipe. Relax on the sun terrace and enjoy a good meal, dance to the sounds of international DJs or cool off in the whirlpool – that is what Jakobshorn is all about. An adventure mountain for an up-for-it crowd and true aficionados.

Freestyle: Jatzpark

Short, intensive runs in a compact, versatile and perfectly groomed park – this is what awaits freestylers at the renewed and expanded JatzPark on the Jakobshorn. Space was created to build the lines parallel to the lift. This allows us to offer four lines: one line combined with rails and kickers for beginners and intermediate snowboarders, an intermediate rail and a professional kicker line. With these additions, the beginner, medium and pro lines at Jatzpark offers elements that are suitable for both beginners and professionals.

BMW-xDrive-Skimovie-Ski- & Boardercross

On Jakobshorn, you can not only do your own thing on the piste but even create your own ski movie. The BMW xDrive Skimovie Slope is located adjacent to the Clavadeler Bubble chairlift. All you need to do is go into the starting hut, register your ski pass on the turnstile, wait for the starting signal and enjoy your descent. In the finish area, you’ll be able to read your best time. As a holiday souvenir, you can watch your Skimovie online, download it and even forward it to your friends. In addition, you can take part in the BMW xDrive Cup and win attractive prizes. Every month, limited edition skies from the BMW and K2 collections are raffled off. And at the end of the season, you can even win a BMW car.

Superpipe and air bag on Bolgen

The super pipe at Bolgen, at the buttom of Jakobshorn and view on Davos, is one of the most beautiful pipes. Experience the ultimative runs in the legendary Bolgen Pipe, where big names of the Swiss snowboard scene made the base of their career – and always come back to visit.
If you want to improve your skills and want to exercise new tricks for the pipe and parc, you can do it next to the pipe – there is a big air bag of 15x15m available to exercise all the jumps, which you always wanted to try.

Well, I gotta admit: the freeriders are way out of my league :D – But it is SO worth a visit. I totally digg the atmosphere and can assure you, that you will LOVE to just hang and relax out in the sun, at the Châlet Güggel with its beautiful sun terraces.

xoxo
