The wonderful, centrally located Kaltenbach has around 1300 inhabitants and is located right at the bottom of the “most active valley in the world”. The town centre in Kaltenbach invites you to enjoy a leisurely stop-off. Kaltenbach is a great place for exploring the Zillertal. Those who want to enjoy a holiday without using their car can use the Zillertalbahn to get to the various towns throughout the Zillertal. The stop for the Zillertalbahn is right in Kaltenbach. The valley station of the popular Hochzillertal skiing area is directly and centrally located in the centre of Kaltenbach. Thanks to its connection to Hochfügen, the top skiing area Hochzillertal offers

Fügenberg, which has a population of 1,400, is the highest village in the First Holiday Region Fügen-Kaltenbach. Rising from 600 metres to an elevation of 1,600 metres above sea level, the municipality offers breathtaking panoramic views and is a desirable holiday destination for hikers and skiers.

The impressive town of Hart in the Zillertal is situated opposite Fügen, on the sunny side of the valley and is particularly suitable for a holiday with the family. Hart has an appealing selection of lovely holiday apartments and with some 900 inhabitants, is a little village with a relaxing ambience and which gives a bit extra.
