Even those who are not that interested into cars or racing, this beauty just makes you speechless. When I saw our guest author sitting in the Ford GT40, I immediately had these amazing images from the 1960s in my head. Old school racing, Ken Miles, Lloyd Ruby, inspiring black and white images and vintage racing cars…
Damn, this was actually the second time I was a bit jealous of our guest author. First he gets to meet Ken Block in person and then he even gets to sit in the ORIGINAL Ford GT40 from the 1960s. Again, DAMN! 😀
The Ford GT40 is a high performance American-British endurance racing car, built and designed in England and in the United States, which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four consecutive times, from 1966 to 1969. The car was named the GT (for Grand Touring) with the 40 representing its overall height of 40 inches as required by the rules.
Just breathtaking…. <3 <3 <3
