We were invited by Ford to experience this year’s events of the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, England. Together with Lisa from Hyyperlic and Florian from Funkjunge, our guest editor Andy (GRIPSTA) is taking a trip down memory lane at the West Dean House, where they were invited to stay for the weekend.
Just six miles from the historic city of Chichester and a few minutes’ drive away from Goodwood, West Dean House, home to the renowned College, offers a unique creative environment with an ambience you will not find elsewhere. Set on a secluded estate within the South Downs, this is a characterful period property with a rich arts history.
The rooms in the characterful period house are mostly traditional in style. A smaller number of rooms are more modern and contemporary. They are all situated within the main house or in the delightful Old Vicarage – many offer breathtaking parkland views.
When visiting Chichester, you should definitely go for a stroll in the award winning West Dean Gardens. They are just gorgeous!
