Our first inspiring Friday this year goes out to the creative Alice. Many of you probably already know her from her blog “i heart alice”. But she is not “just” a freelance fashion editor and blogger, Alice also launched her first collection. She studies fashion design at the AMD Munich (Academy for Fashion and Design) and impressed us with her seven piece portfolio consisting of cute shorts, two skirts, two vests, one jacket and one top – combinable in so many different ways and made with lots of love and passion. Alice used different fabrics such as cotton, polyester, chiffon, corduroy and wool for the respective looks.
We love it and wanted to know what inspired her for the first own personal collection, which could be all expressed in one sentence. “I want to cover the human body with my feelings.”
In the gallery above you see Alice Mai-Linh Huynh herself, together with some impressions of her first collection. The pictures were shot by Lisa Walter with top model candidate Lisa V. from Germany’s Nex Topmodel, hair and make-up were done by Katherina Sterk.
If you like her style, you can contact her directly, since she also offers custom made pieces. Wouldn’t that be nice to have a “true Alice” among your personal treasures in your wardrobe? We would certainly love it!
